Yuvo

Terms of Use

Effective date: 14 September 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and the publisher of Yuvo ("Yuvo", "we", "us"), based in the United Kingdom, and govern your use of the Yuvo Android application and this website (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Yuvo is

Yuvo is a video player and discovery app for Android. It lets you browse, search, watch and listen to publicly available videos, short clips and live streams that are hosted by third-party platforms, and it adds features such as background listening, a watchlist, local subscriptions and downloads. Yuvo does not host, upload or store any video content on its own servers.

Yuvo is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the third-party platforms whose content it displays, nor by HUAWEI. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in your country, to use Yuvo. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app store you obtained it from.

4. Third-party content and services

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

The App includes integrity checks. Modified or re-signed copies may refuse to run, and we may suspend access for anyone who breaches these Terms.

6. Downloads and offline use

The download feature stores a copy of a stream on your own device for personal, offline viewing. You are solely responsible for making sure you have the right to download and keep any content, and for complying with copyright law and the hosting platform's terms in your country. We do not grant you any rights to the content itself.

7. Advertising, Yuvo Premium and the ad-free pass

7.1 Advertising

The free version of Yuvo is supported by advertising, which may include banner, native, video (pre-roll and mid-roll), interstitial, splash and rewarded ads. The number and placement of ads may change over time.

7.2 Yuvo Premium

Yuvo Premium is a one-time in-app purchase that removes advertising from the App for the lifetime of the product. It is sold through HUAWEI In-App Purchases and is linked to the HUAWEI ID used for the purchase. Prices are shown in the purchase sheet before you confirm, may vary by country, and include applicable taxes where required. Payment, billing, receipts and refunds are handled by HUAWEI under its own terms; refund requests should be made through HUAWEI AppGallery. Once activated, Premium applies on every device signed in with the same HUAWEI ID.

"Lifetime" means for as long as Yuvo is available and supported. We will do our best to keep the App running, but we cannot guarantee that it, or the third-party services it relies on, will be available forever, and Premium does not entitle you to compensation if the App is discontinued or if third-party services change.

7.3 Ad-free pass

You may be offered a temporary ad-free pass in exchange for watching a rewarded ad. The pass lasts for the number of minutes shown at the time, applies only to the current app session, is not transferable and has no cash value. Availability of rewarded ads is not guaranteed.

8. Updates and changes to the Service

We may release updates, add or remove features, change advertising settings or remote configuration, and modify or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time. Some updates may be required to keep using the App. We are not liable for any loss caused by such changes.

9. Intellectual property

The Yuvo name, logo, design and original code are owned by the publisher of Yuvo or its licensors. Parts of the App are based on open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0; those parts remain subject to that licence, and the corresponding notices are available in the App's About section. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

10. Privacy

How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any content will remain available or that playback will work on every device or network.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yuvo, its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for Yuvo Premium in the 12 months before the claim, or £10 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service or your infringement of any third party's rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 4, 5, 6, 9 and 11 to 16 survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident elsewhere keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules and courts of their country of residence.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of our business. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
